Al Wazan Group — Road Safety Officer
Al Wazan Group is seeking a committed Road Safety Officer to support its operations in Abu Dhabi within the industrial and oil & gas service sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting safe driving practices, monitoring compliance with traffic and site safety rules, and supporting the company’s overall safety culture across projects and transport activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce road safety policies for company vehicles and drivers.
- Conduct regular vehicle and driver safety inspections and report non-compliance.
- Investigate road incidents, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and driver awareness training sessions.
- Coordinate with site safety teams and supervisors to align road safety procedures with operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, trainings, incidents, and corrective measures.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Languages required: Hindi & English (fluent spoken and written).
- Previous experience in road safety, driver management, or transport safety within industrial or oil & gas environments is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
