Description:
Adventist Health is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Recovery Associate to support its Patient Financial Services – Revenue Recovery team. This role is responsible for entering patient and client billing information, maintaining accurate records, supporting claims processing, and ensuring efficient revenue cycle operations.
The successful candidate will work within established procedures while managing billing assignments, reviewing financial data, and supporting claim accuracy. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to improve billing and collection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter patient and client billing information accurately into designated software systems.
• Review and verify billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support accurate creation and submission of client claims.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding claim creation errors and billing issues.
• Compile, analyze, and organize data into various reporting formats.
• Review daily collection activities and monthly revenue cycle reports.
• Provide recommendations and support for billing audits and process improvements.
• Follow established procedures, guidelines, and workflows while completing assigned tasks.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education preferred.
• Associate Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred.
• Previous experience in data entry billing is preferred.
• Experience with revenue cycle billing, collections, or reimbursement processes is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify and analyze financial information.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow established processes while managing routine assignments.
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) Certification through HFMA is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Healthcare billing, claims processing, and revenue cycle operations.
• Data entry, financial record accuracy, and reporting procedures.
• Patient financial services, collections, and reimbursement processes.
