Description:
Waymo, a leader in autonomous driving technology, is seeking a skilled Revenue Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team. This hybrid role reports to the Accounting Manager – Revenue, Technical Accounting, and Taxes, and plays a crucial role in managing revenue accounting processes while partnering closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end revenue accounting for Waymo entities in coordination with third-party service providers
- Automate and enhance existing revenue and order-to-cash accounting processes; design new processes for emerging business areas
- Partner with cross-functional teams on revenue matters related to regulatory compliance and reporting
- Communicate with customers regarding invoicing and tax matters
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of revenue accounting experience in accordance with US GAAP
- Proficiency in managing order-to-cash processes
- Experience handling confidential financial information with integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cross-functional environments and leading complex programs
- Process improvement and project management experience
- Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Background in the tech industry
- Experience with SAP Cloud
