Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Trainer to join Westlake Group’s retail learning & development function. You will design and deliver practical training that raises product knowledge, selling skills, customer service standards and ensures consistent brand execution across stores.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and deliver structured training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions for retail staff at multiple locations.
  • Conduct on-the-floor coaching, classroom sessions and refresher trainings to embed best practices.
  • Develop training materials — presentations, manuals, checklists and short e-learning modules — to support consistent learning.
  • Assess trainee performance via role-plays and on-the-job observations, providing clear, actionable feedback and follow-up plans.
  • Collaborate with store managers and regional leads to identify skills gaps, build development plans and measure the impact of training on KPIs.
  • Ensure adherence to brand, merchandising and service standards at all retail touchpoints.
  • Track and report training effectiveness using metrics such as sales uplift, conversion rates and customer service scores.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in fast-fashion retail or a similar retail environment with demonstrable training experience.
  • Proven ability to design engaging training and confidently present to teams and leadership.
  • Strong presentation, communication and coaching skills; comfortable facilitating both in-person and digital sessions.
  • Organized, proactive and results-oriented with a focus on measurable improvements in store performance.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with digital training tools is a plus.
