We are hiring a Remote Travel Coordinator / Reservation Agent
Join Luxury Escape by Jaclyn Vehlewald as a remote Reservation Agent where you’ll design and book tailored travel experiences for both corporate and leisure clients. This role is ideal for someone who loves travel, enjoys planning detail-oriented itineraries, and delivering exceptional client service.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Research destinations, compile options, and build customized travel itineraries.
- Discuss client preferences and constraints to design trips tailored to specific needs.
- Complete required training and maintain certifications needed to book travel.
- Attend vendor webinars to develop destination-specific expertise.
- Plan travel within client budgets and provide cost-conscious recommendations.
- Prepare promotional content and materials for client outreach.
- Monitor and advise clients on changing travel restrictions and requirements.
- Book travel components including flights, accommodations, car rentals, cruises, and event tickets.
- Communicate proactively with clients before and after travel; handle booking issues and on-trip problems as they arise.
- Liaise with tour operators and suppliers to source packages and special offers.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States, Mexico, Australia, or the United Kingdom.
- Strong communication skills; a sales background is advantageous.
- Smartphone with internet access required; laptop recommended.
- Personal travel experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Prior customer service or hospitality experience is beneficial.
- Comfortable working remotely with a reliable internet connection and a professional home workspace.
