Role Overview:
As a Research Analyst, you will analyze critical Federal contract pursuits and provide actionable intelligence that directly impacts client bidding strategies. You will combine journalistic research, strategic writing, and stakeholder interviews to produce high-quality reports that guide executive decision-making. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and creative skills.
Key Responsibilities (Entry-Level):
- Perform analysis, collection, and dissemination of key capture information using a journalistic approach.
- Deliver business development intelligence to C-level executives, BD teams, and service delivery professionals.
- Advise executive-level decision-makers within the Federal Contracting industry.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely intelligence.
- Conduct interviews and engage with high-ranking government officials.
- Contribute to VoicedIQ’s mission of providing real-time, customized capture intelligence.
Minimum Qualifications (Entry-Level):
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; typing speed above 40 WPM.
- Comfortable making calls to senior government personnel.
- Must reside in the U.S. Eastern or Central time zones for synchronous remote work.
Experienced Analyst Responsibilities (2–3 Years Experience):
- All responsibilities of entry-level analysts.
- Review work in progress and provide feedback.
- Support and train other analysts.
- Offer professional and technical guidance to the team.
- Oversee certain research areas within the business.
Experienced Analyst Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year institution.
- 2+ years experience in market research, capture intelligence, or business development roles.
- Familiarity with federal contracting databases (SAM.gov, USASpending.gov, FPDS.gov).
- Knowledge of Federal Contracting terminology, processes, FAR, NAICS codes, contract vehicles, socio-economic classifications, proposal stages, and evaluation criteria.
- Experience communicating with industry via phone and email.
- Must reside in the U.S. Eastern or Central time zones for synchronous remote work.
