We are seeking both entry-level and experienced Research Analysts who are eager to analyze federal contract opportunities and provide actionable intelligence to clients. This role combines strategic research, journalistic inquiry, and communication skills to produce reports that directly influence multi-million-dollar contract decisions.
Key Responsibilities (Entry-Level Research Analyst):
- Perform research, collect, and analyze critical capture intelligence with a journalistic approach.
- Deliver actionable business development insights to C-level executives, BD teams, and service delivery professionals.
- Advise executive decision-makers within the federal contracting space.
- Participate in time-sensitive intelligence delivery with team members.
- Conduct interviews and engage with high-ranking government officials.
- Provide accurate and customized real-time intelligence to support client growth.
Additional Responsibilities (Experienced Research Analyst, 2–3 Years’ Experience):
- Oversee and review work in progress within the analyst team.
- Provide feedback, support, and mentorship to junior analysts.
- Offer professional and technical support for research projects.
- Provide oversight for specialized research areas and ensure accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year institution.
- For experienced role: at least 2 years in market research, capture intelligence, or business development within federal contracting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; typing speed above 40 WPM.
- Comfortable conducting phone interviews with government personnel.
- Familiarity with government procurement databases (SAM.gov, USASpending.gov, FPDS.gov).
- Knowledge of Federal Contracting terminology, FAR, NAICS codes, contract vehicles, socio-economic classifications, proposal stages, and evaluation criteria.
- Must work from a U.S. Eastern or Central time zone.
