Reporting Analyst – Role Overview
Merative is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reporting Analyst to join our Analytics, Research, and Solutioning Cross-Functional team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about leveraging data to improve healthcare outcomes. You will work with clinical, operational, and financial data to support decision-making and deliver actionable insights across our client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data analyses and develop dashboards and visualizations using proprietary tools, Excel, Python, and other analytic platforms.
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze claims and benefits-related data to support senior analysts in identifying trends, cost-saving opportunities, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and issues.
- Provide user support to system users at client organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data management, clinical experts, and product support, to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Health Informatics, Public Health, Statistics, Business Management, or related discipline.
- Familiarity with data analysis and BI tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R, Tableau).
- Basic understanding of healthcare data and terminology (claims data, ICD-10, CPT codes) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in team-oriented environments.
