Description:
Thrivent is seeking a fully qualified Reporting Analyst to support the Capacity Growth & Development COE, serving as a liaison between the business and key stakeholders. The role is crucial in providing accurate reporting, assisting with business requirements, and coordinating deliverables across functional teams. The analyst ensures data quality and monitors end-to-end reporting trends, while also leading small to moderate projects through requirements gathering, updates, and test case execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with end-users, business owners, and supervisors to define reporting requirements, including key data points, timing, display, and distribution
  • Analyze business processes and suggest improvements across systems and operations, partnering with COE leadership on direction and policy
  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions that meet business needs
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, adjusting solutions as requirements evolve
  • Deliver accurate and timely reports meeting established standards and deadlines
  • Support end-users and business owners by addressing questions regarding reports, data, and access
  • Identify and resolve report design issues, including data, tool, system, or network problems

Required Qualifications:

  • College degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Business, Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2–4 years of experience using database and data warehouse environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Experience with SAS and Business Objects reporting tools
  • Solid understanding of systems design processes and methodology, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within defined objectives
  • Proficiency in leveraging technology to produce actionable reports for leadership
