The Renewal Specialist is responsible for supporting service contract renewals, pre-sales activities, and contract lifecycle management. This role acts as a key liaison between sales, engineering, and customers to ensure accurate asset verification, pricing alignment, and timely contract renewals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage medium and large customer renewals from identification through final renewal decision
• Maintain and update Salesforce opportunity records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SLAs
• Prepare and verify asset lists for maintenance and service contract renewals
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, and customers to validate contract details and pricing
• Generate renewal contracts, statements of work, and related documentation
• Obtain pricing from vendors and manufacturers, ensuring competitive and accurate quotes
• Support contract processing, purchase orders, and deal closure activities
• Monitor renewal timelines to ensure on-time contract execution
• Resolve contract discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary
• Serve as subject matter expert for maintenance contracts and renewal processes
• Maintain accurate reporting and documentation for all renewal activities
• Support sales teams in achieving productivity and revenue targets
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, communications, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a business, sales support, or communications environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Knowledge of Cisco services preferred
Strong knowledge of:
• Contract management and renewal processes
