Description:
Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA)—the world’s largest network of privately owned campgrounds—seeks a Regional Revenue Manager to maximize performance across a portfolio of company-owned parks. You will apply proven hospitality concepts and innovative tactics to drive pricing, occupancy, and total revenue, partnering closely with leaders across Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Operations to deliver timely analyses and actionable strategies. Position Summary:
- Lead the revenue strategy for each assigned campground, aligning tactics with portfolio goals.
- Deliver accurate forecasting, pricing guidance, and yield strategies that improve occupancy and RevPAR-like KPIs.
- Provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders and execute recommendations quickly and effectively.
Specific Duties:
- Develop campground-level revenue plans and coordinate weekly revenue cadence with GMs and regional teams.
- Analyze short- and long-term demand, pace, and competitive positioning; recommend and implement rate adjustments.
- Produce daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reporting with insights and variance commentary.
- Build dynamic forecasts versus budget and prior year; explain drivers and outline corrective actions.
- Partner with Business Intelligence to monitor demand generators, competitor strategies, and market trends; translate findings into system-wide best practices.
- Plan and facilitate revenue meetings with clear objectives, actions, and follow-through.
- Support training and education on revenue management via written playbooks, webinars, and KOA event sessions.
- Complete annual Best Park in Market analyses and Commercial Strategy Roadmaps with Marketing; support local marketing plans.
- Evaluate revenue-generating capital projects and enhancements within the portfolio.
- Maintain and optimize revenue-related software/tools and contribute to special projects as assigned.
Expected Results:
- Sustained growth in top-line revenue and portfolio health KPIs.
- Consistent adoption of revenue processes, benchmarks, and playbooks across properties.
- Strong cross-functional relationships and on-time delivery of projects within budget.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (hospitality or hotel management preferred); MBA is a plus.
- 3–5 years of hands-on operations or revenue management experience with forecasting and pricing ownership.
- Multi-property experience required.
- Certified revenue manager (or willingness to complete an approved certification program).
- Advanced quantitative/analytical ability; strategic planning skills; organizational agility in decentralized environments.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills; knowledge of sales, marketing, research, and market analysis.
- Valid Driver’s License.
