Job Responsibilities:
- Manage patient scheduling and registration in a single call
- Verify patient eligibility, insurance information, and obtain payment for financial clearance
- Collect and validate patient demographic and financial information for complex pre-registration
- Complete pre-certification requirements by securing necessary authorizations
- Perform additional tasks as assigned based on departmental needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years in a professional, customer service-driven environment or completion of a related medical certification program
- Experience in telephone/call center operations preferred
- Familiarity with pre-registration and/or scheduling processes preferred
- 2-3 years of customer service experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a production-driven call center environment
- Prior experience working with dual computer monitors
- Completion of a related medical certification program
- Strong multitasking skills across multiple systems
- Previous experience in financial clearance or scheduling
