Urgently Hiring – Quantity Surveyor (QS) in Sharjah, UAE
Alanqaa Roads Maintenance Cont. is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in infrastructure, construction, and road & bridge projects, with at least 10 years of hands-on experience within the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and pricing for infrastructure projects.
- Oversee billing processes, interim and final payment certificates, and project documentation.
- Coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure cost efficiency.
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare BOQs and ensure alignment with project budgets and timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying within the UAE.
- Excellent command over AutoCAD, Excel, and Primavera (or other QS tools).
- Strong understanding of construction practices, pricing, and material sourcing.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
