Description:
Solid Core Contracting L.L.C. is looking to hire an experienced Quantity Surveyor to become part of its growing infrastructure team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with proven UAE experience who have worked on major civil infrastructure and utility projects.
The selected candidate will play a key role in project cost management, quantity surveying, and contract administration. Applicants with a strong background in infrastructure works, excellent analytical skills, and knowledge of UAE construction standards are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and assist with effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Measure completed works, prepare progress payment applications, and manage project variations.
• Handle claims, contract administration, and preparation of final accounts.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Review project drawings and specifications to support estimation and planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
• Assist in maintaining accurate project records and commercial documentation.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in infrastructure construction projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience working on sewerage systems, drainage systems, gravity networks, water line networks, irrigation systems, and pipeline projects.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project deadlines with accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, estimation, and cost control
• FIDIC contracts and UAE construction practices
• Microsoft Excel, QS software, contract administration, claims, and final accounts
