About the Opportunity:

The Quality Manager leads a team of Quality Analysts responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of credential evaluations that assist international students and professionals in attaining their educational and career objectives in the United States and Canada. This role works as a proactive leader who thrives in data-driven environments, is eager to learn and apply WES policies and processing guidelines and has experience managing teams through change. The Quality Manager will contribute to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and the development of high-performing teams. This position reports to the AD, Quality Management within the WES Production function.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise, coach, and support a team of Quality Analysts to meet quality and performance targets.
  • Ensure quality control of the evaluation proofing process through spot checks, coaching, and feedback.
  • Monitor workflow, manage workload distribution in M-Files, and adjust schedules to meet productivity goals.
  • Escalate bottlenecks and evaluation delays to other production managers when necessary.
  • Assign expedited proofing tasks and collaborate with production managers and Technology teams to streamline workflows.
  • Focus on process automation optimization by identifying new processes, technology, and applicable software.
  • Identify training needs and recommend solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct audits of completed evaluations and compile monthly error reports.
  • Lead performance reviews (mid-year and year-end) for direct reports.
  • Communicate policy changes, reminders, and evaluation updates to the Quality Team.
  • Oversee team time management and review PTO requests.
  • Support strategic planning through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement recommendations.
  • Occasionally attend in-person meetings or travel to support collaboration and engagement.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Your Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business operations, data analytics, data management, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct people management experience, including supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Experience with time management tools, scheduling, and workflow management.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, database tools, and internet navigation.
  • Ability to assess team capabilities and exercise sound judgment in people management and evaluation content.
  • Strong work ethic, communication, and people skills.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • High standards of quality, accountability, and initiative.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines.
