We are looking for an experienced QHSE Lead to strengthen safety and security across warehouse operations. This role combines occupational health & safety leadership with security oversight to ensure a safe working environment, regulatory compliance, and protection of assets and personnel.
✨ Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, roll out, and continuously review HSE policies and procedures that meet local regulations and international best practices.
- Perform risk assessments and regular safety audits of warehouse activities, including operations involving forklifts and VNA equipment.
- Drive safety culture through training sessions, toolbox talks, awareness campaigns, and refresher programs.
- Ensure the correct handling, storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous materials according to standards.
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and manage HSE documentation, logbooks, compliance records, and periodic reporting for audits.
- Design and enforce security policies to protect stock, facilities, and staff.
- Manage access control systems, surveillance infrastructure, and on-site security personnel.
- Conduct security risk assessments and audits; prepare mitigation plans and corrective action reports.
- Liaise with emergency services and law enforcement when incidents require external coordination.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, or similar fields.
- Professional certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Proven track record in HSE and security roles within warehousing, logistics, or trading environments.
- Strong experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Knowledge of forklift/VNA safety procedures and warehouse operational hazards.
- Excellent communication skills, able to run training programs and engage cross-functional teams.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple compliance tasks simultaneously.
