Description:


We are currently hiring a qualified and experienced QHSE Engineer to support ongoing water and wastewater treatment projects across the UAE. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining an Integrated Management System (IMS) covering Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment, while ensuring full compliance with international standards and UAE regulatory requirements. Travel across project sites within the UAE will be required based on operational needs.

Role Overview:


• Develop, implement, and sustain the Integrated Management System (IMS) for QHSE
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, UAE regulations, and internal company standards
• Support safe operations and continuous improvement across all project activities

Key Responsibilities:


• Implement and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, and IMS documentation
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, internal audits, and incident investigations
• Monitor HSE performance indicators, KPIs, reports, and corrective action plans
• Deliver HSE training sessions and awareness programs for employees and contractors
• Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance with QHSE requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during audits and inspections

Key Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent professional certification
• ISO 9001 Auditor certification
• Minimum 7 years of QHSE experience in industrial sectors, preferably water or wastewater projects
• Strong understanding of UAE HSE laws and regulatory frameworks
• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory)
• Candidates must currently be based inside the UAE
