We Are Hiring: QC Engineer / Inspector

FBM Hudson FZE – JAFZA, Dubai, UAE

Job Description:

• Perform receiving material inspection of all the project related material with respect to the project & ASME requirements.
• Inspect components and parts at different stages of fabrication through to final inspection in accordance with drawings, ITP & written procedures and complete and maintain the inspection records for the same.
• Plan and offer various stages of inspection during fabrication/ construction to authorized inspector and client representatives as required by approved ITP.
• Report any non -conformances noted during the fabrication and hold further activities until further resolution by QA/QC Manager.
• Responsible for the acceptance of all stages of fabrication.
• Any other responsibilities and duties directed by the QA/QC Manager.
• Additionally, Prepare painting procedures as per project requirements, calculate required paint quantities, perform painting inspections, and coordinate with paint manufacturers to select the appropriate paint systems.

Person Specification:

• Education: Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 5 years as a QC Engineer / Inspector for Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers

Certifications:

• CSWIP 3.1 – Mandatory
• NACE Level 2 or BGAS Grade 2 – Mandatory
