Description:
MAM Food Co. is recruiting an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance and food-safety efforts at its Dubai facility. This role is ideal for a candidate with a proven track record in food manufacturing—experience in the meat industry is mandatory—and who is available to work in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the company’s quality management and food safety systems to ensure products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead audits (internal and external), manage corrective actions, and coordinate supplier quality assessments.
- Monitor production processes and implement controls to maintain consistent product quality and safety.
- Provide training and mentorship to production and QA teams on best practices, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, procurement, and regulatory) to drive quality initiatives and resolve non-conformances.
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in food manufacturing, with hands-on exposure to the meat industry preferred/mandatory.
- Availability in the UAE (candidates must be present/able to join in the UAE).
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and quality management systems, and experience conducting or supporting audits.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant academic background (Bachelor’s in Food Science, Microbiology, or similar is preferred).
