Piper Companies is looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our enterprise technology team. This fully remote position focuses on supporting forecasting, infrastructure planning, and data-driven capacity modeling initiatives. The role is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to transition into a full-time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Python and SQL-based tools to assist with capacity forecasting and hardware lifecycle planning
- Build and maintain dashboards in Kibana for operational visibility, reporting, and data analysis
- Support SQL-driven projections and contribute to data modeling projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions
- Contribute to infrastructure and hardware planning initiatives using data-driven forecasting
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Python development
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data modeling, analysis, and projections
- Experience designing and maintaining dashboards in Kibana
- Background in infrastructure-heavy environments or capacity forecasting
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
