Role Overview:
We are hiring a hands-on Purchase Officer to manage procurement activities at our Sharjah facility. This on-site, full-time position will own purchasing workflows, from raising requisitions and purchase orders to negotiating with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and packaging. The ideal candidate will support supplier relationships and contribute to supply-chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including creating and tracking purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Negotiate contracts and prices with vendors to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain vendor relationships, evaluate supplier performance, and resolve supply issues promptly.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and inform procurement decisions.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production schedules and minimize stockouts.
- Coordinate with inventory, production, and quality teams to align purchasing with operational needs.
- Support documentation and record-keeping for audits and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience with purchasing processes, purchase orders, and requisition workflows.
- Strong contract negotiation and vendor-management capabilities.
- Good analytical skills for interpreting purchasing data and making informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Proficiency in procurement or ERP systems and MS Office is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in the perfume or related FMCG industry (2–5 years) is a plus but not mandatory.
