Description:
Al Khalidiya Group is seeking a skilled Purchase Officer to join its Façade Division in Abu Dhabi. As one of the UAE’s established organizations with multiple subsidiaries across construction-related industries, the company offers an excellent opportunity for procurement professionals looking to advance their careers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing façade materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely procurement to support ongoing projects. Immediate joiners with UAE experience in the façade, aluminium, glass, or construction sector are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the procurement of façade materials, including aluminium, glass, hardware, sealants, and related products.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality products, and timely deliveries.
• Obtain quotations, compare supplier offers, and prepare purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, stores, and suppliers to ensure continuous material availability.
• Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on outstanding purchase orders to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase documentation.
• Verify that purchased materials comply with project specifications and company quality standards.
• Build strong supplier relationships while identifying opportunities for cost savings and procurement improvements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Purchase Officer in the UAE.
• Experience within the façade, aluminium, glass, or construction industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of façade materials, aluminium systems, glass products, hardware, and related construction materials.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple procurement activities under project deadlines.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
