Description:

Aljabri Electromechanical L.L.C is looking for a motivated and energetic Purchase Officer to become part of its growing team in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with UAE procurement experience who are eager to contribute to a fast-paced engineering and fabrication environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing procurement activities, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure materials are sourced efficiently, delivered on time, and meet the company’s quality and cost expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source materials and obtain competitive quotations from reliable suppliers.

• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

• Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery timelines to ensure timely procurement.

• Coordinate with project, production, and store teams to maintain uninterrupted material availability.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

• Ensure procurement activities are cost-effective while maintaining required quality standards.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and support continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience in the UAE, preferably within the fabrication, engineering, or construction industry.

• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and supplier relationship skills.

• Good understanding of local and international procurement procedures.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.

• Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of:

• Procurement and purchasing processes

• Supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management

• Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel

• ERP systems and procurement software

• Inventory coordination and material planning
