Description:
A company in the UAE is looking for a skilled and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage government relations, labor compliance, and visa/immigration processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of UAE labor laws, MOHRE procedures, and government liaison activities, with the ability to manage labor complaints and ensure regulatory compliance across company operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of governmental coordination, labor compliance, and support to HR on legal and regulatory matters. Fluency in Arabic is mandatory, along with good English communication skills, to ensure smooth coordination with authorities and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with MOHRE, Immigration, GDRFA, Tasheel, and Amer for all governmental processes
• Handle labor complaints, disputes, and MOHRE cases efficiently
• Manage WPS (Wage Protection System) issues, including blocks, fines, and unblocking procedures
• Oversee labor camp inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
• Manage company license renewals, approvals, and official documentation
• Provide HR support on regulatory and compliance matters
• Coordinate government inspections and audits to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of PRO experience within the UAE
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law, MOHRE, and visa/immigration systems
• Experience managing labor complaints, WPS issues, and labor camp compliance
• Fluent in Arabic (mandatory) and proficient in English
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate effectively with government authorities and internal teams
