Global Medical Solutions is recruiting a compassionate and professional Psychiatric / Mental Health Nurse to join a government healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role is ideal for a nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality mental health care within a multidisciplinary team and who can work with sensitivity and professionalism in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to patients with psychiatric and mental health needs following established clinical protocols.
• Assist in assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patients’ mental and physical status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and observe for therapeutic effects and side effects.
• Support multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, including crisis intervention when required.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and coping strategies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid Nursing License to practice in the UAE.
• Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health settings is preferred.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
