URGENT HIRING — PROJECT MANAGER (INTERIOR FIT-OUT)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of interior fit-out projects from initial planning through handover. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards while coordinating closely with clients, architects, consultants and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage interior fit-out projects, ensuring strict adherence to timelines, budgets and quality expectations.
- Planning & Controls: Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, resources and cost control.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the main point of contact between clients, design teams and contractors, ensuring clear communication and timely decision-making.
- Progress Monitoring & Risk Management: Track project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation measures to keep projects on course.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular project reports, progress updates and maintain all project documentation for stakeholders.
- Site Inspections: Conduct frequent site visits and inspections to verify workmanship and compliance with specifications.
- Commercial Responsibility: Take full commercial accountability for assigned projects — prepare cost plans, manage subcontractor agreements, and control site and financial aspects.
- Self-Delivery Program: Oversee a self-delivery labour program that supplies resources for regional project delivery.
- Meetings & Governance: Attend Project Control Committee meetings with senior departmental representatives to review current projects and plan upcoming work.
- Training & Support: Participate in meetings and training sessions and provide assistance to senior management as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Project Manager within the interior fit-out or construction sector; minimum 3 years’ experience in the UAE market.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, cost control, contract management and construction processes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
- Other: Holder of a valid UAE driving license.
