Description:
S.S. Lootah Contracting is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and supervise major construction projects across Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle—ensuring every phase is executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and oversee construction projects from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring both technical and commercial objectives are met.
  • Prepare detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, monitoring performance against established targets.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project flow.
  • Manage procurement activities, sourcing materials and equipment while ensuring cost control and adherence to quality benchmarks.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure full compliance with local health and safety regulations.
  • Lead periodic project meetings and deliver thorough progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Address technical challenges and operational issues as they occur on site, proposing effective solutions.
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential project disruptions.
  • Oversee staffing, guiding site teams and subcontractors while ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements – Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong background with at least 12 years of hands-on construction project experience.
  • Valid Abu Dhabi equivalency certificate.
  • Deep understanding of construction techniques, materials, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple active projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Previous experience working on large-scale industrial, commercial, or residential projects.
  • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.

Work Environment:

  • Combination of office-based and on-site responsibilities.
