Description:
Encore is seeking an experienced Production Specialist to join our team on a part-time, on-call basis. This role supports the planning, execution, and post-event management of corporate events, association events, keynotes, special events, and branding activations. You will be an integral member of the Event Production Show Team and report to an Associate Director of Event Production or Project Management.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Event Pre-Production:
- Fulfill pre-production duties for assigned role according to Encore Event Production SOPs.
- Collaborate to maintain the creative vision of the event, coordinating all elements and teams from planning to execution.
- Work with clients and the Encore Sales team as applicable to assigned role.
- Support milestone tracking, documentation, and risk mitigation throughout the project.
- Partner with internal Encore departments as needed to ensure smooth project delivery.
Event Execution:
- Perform execution responsibilities per Encore SOPs for your assigned role.
- Maintain quality control throughout the live event or show.
Post-Event:
- Complete post-production responsibilities according to SOPs.
- Participate in client and internal debriefs.
- Ensure all documentation and files are properly archived.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in live event production, including roles such as Producer, Stage Manager, Show Caller, Graphics Editor/Coordinator, or Production Coordinator.
- Onsite crew management experience.
- Strong client relationship, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes; ability to read and interpret financial reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ShoFlo preferred.

Work Environment:
- Hotel/Convention Center: Moderate exposure to outdoor elements, noise, and use of AV equipment; may involve heights and multiple locations.
