Overview:
We are urgently seeking a hands-on Production Engineer with solid experience in powder coating and painting operations to join our manufacturing team in Dubai. The role focuses on ensuring consistent coating quality, meeting production targets, and resolving process issues on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day powder coating and painting processes, including surface preparation, masking, application, curing, and final inspection.
• Set and monitor process parameters (spray settings, oven temperatures, conveyor speed, curing cycles) to achieve consistent finishes.
• Mix and prepare coating materials, handle powder and liquid paints safely, and ensure correct usage and storage.
• Perform routine quality checks, identify defects (runs, orange peel, adhesion failures), and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems; coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs and preventive upkeep.
• Work closely with production planning to prioritize jobs, optimize throughput, and minimize rework.
• Maintain production logs, material consumption records, and QC documentation for traceability.
• Enforce workplace safety, proper handling of chemicals, and environmental procedures for waste and emissions.
• Coach and guide operators to improve skills and maintain consistent production standards.

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of practical experience in powder coating and painting within India or the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of surface treatment, application techniques, curing processes, and common defect causes.
• Proven troubleshooting ability to diagnose and rectify coating quality issues.
• Familiarity with basic quality control methods and production recordkeeping.
• Good communication skills in English; ability to work effectively within a production team.
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent trade qualification preferred.
