Description:
Bottomline, a global leader in business payments and cash management, is seeking a talented Product Manager to join our Paymode Product Management team. This role focuses on our invoice processing and data capture product suite, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences. The position is fully remote within the US, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern Time Zone. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without restriction; visa sponsorships or transfers are not available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the ideation and definition of new product features, collaborating with commercial product teams, architects, and engineering on design
- Work with product and operations leadership and stakeholders to prioritize features and enhancements
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements and detailed user stories for development teams
- Collaborate closely with engineering to groom user stories, address technical challenges, and review deliverables
- Assist in preparing product documentation for customers and internal teams
- Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, operations, and professional services to implement and iterate on solutions
- Support annual audits, assessments, and RFP responses
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a software technology-related field or 3–5 years of related experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable
- Strong understanding of web UI frameworks, REST APIs, authentication, and authorization protocols
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with SaaS products is a plus
