Description:
A company based in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire an experienced and detail-focused Procurement Specialist with strong expertise in SAP Ariba. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience managing procurement operations and are skilled in optimizing sourcing strategies while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.

The selected candidate will play a vital role in overseeing procurement cycles, vendor management, and system integration to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle using SAP Ariba platforms
  • Oversee sourcing activities, supplier onboarding, and contract management through Ariba modules
  • Work closely with internal departments to understand and fulfill procurement requirements
  • Conduct RFQs, RFPs, and supplier evaluation processes
  • Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and agreements with vendors
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for procurement activities
  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and audit standards
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and improvements in procurement processes
  • Support system integration and continuous optimization of SAP Ariba workflows

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant procurement experience
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP Ariba modules such as Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, or Supplier Management
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices and vendor management
  • Prior experience working within the UAE market
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Ariba certification will be considered an advantage
  • Experience in ERP system integration
  • Knowledge of UAE procurement laws and compliance standards
