A company based in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire an experienced and detail-focused Procurement Specialist with strong expertise in SAP Ariba. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience managing procurement operations and are skilled in optimizing sourcing strategies while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.
The selected candidate will play a vital role in overseeing procurement cycles, vendor management, and system integration to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle using SAP Ariba platforms
- Oversee sourcing activities, supplier onboarding, and contract management through Ariba modules
- Work closely with internal departments to understand and fulfill procurement requirements
- Conduct RFQs, RFPs, and supplier evaluation processes
- Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and agreements with vendors
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for procurement activities
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and audit standards
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and improvements in procurement processes
- Support system integration and continuous optimization of SAP Ariba workflows
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 3 to 4 years of relevant procurement experience
- Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP Ariba modules such as Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, or Supplier Management
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices and vendor management
- Prior experience working within the UAE market
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Ariba certification will be considered an advantage
- Experience in ERP system integration
- Knowledge of UAE procurement laws and compliance standards
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must currently be residing in the UAE
