Job Title: Procurement Officer – Construction & Facilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to manage sourcing and purchasing activities for construction projects and facilities operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction materials, vendor management, and procurement regulations within the UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and facility services as per project requirements.
• Evaluate supplier quotations for cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on material trends and price fluctuations.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, contracts, and documentation
• Coordinate with project managers and facilities teams to align procurement schedules with operational timelines.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE procurement regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and local supplier markets.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices.
• Experience working with UAE-based suppliers.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
