Description:
Profound Contracting is currently hiring an experienced Procurement Officer to support its growing operations within the construction industry in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in contractor procurement who are skilled in sourcing, negotiation, coordination, and ensuring smooth material flow across active project sites.

As part of the procurement team, you will play a key role in supporting piling, shoring, and soil improvement projects by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the sourcing and procurement of construction materials, tools, and equipment for piling, shoring, and soil improvement works
• Request, review, and analyze quotations from multiple suppliers to achieve the best balance of cost, quality, and delivery timelines
• Maintain and regularly update the approved vendor list, ensuring supplier certifications, credentials, and performance records remain current
• Conduct basic supplier negotiations to secure favorable commercial and delivery terms
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure approvals are obtained in accordance with internal procurement policies
• Coordinate closely with site teams and project managers to ensure timely fulfillment of material requirements
• Liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and ensure materials meet required specifications
• Monitor pending orders, track deliveries, and resolve any issues related to delays or discrepancies
• Ensure accurate documentation of delivery notes, invoices, contracts, and supplier agreements
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements
• Maintain organized records of purchases, pricing structures, and supplier performance
• Work with finance and project teams to verify invoices and support timely supplier payments
• Assist in preparing procurement reports, cost comparisons, and analysis for management review

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in the civil or ground engineering sector, with a strong focus on contractor procurement
• Solid knowledge of the local supplier and subcontractor market in the UAE
• Prior experience in foundation, piling, or shoring works is a strong advantage
• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
