Description:
An automotive company in Dubai is seeking a Procurement Manager to strengthen supplier relationships and improve purchasing processes. The role focuses on achieving better commercial terms, maintaining reliable supplier partnerships, and ensuring structured follow-up throughout the procurement cycle.
The successful candidate will manage supplier negotiations, represent the company’s commercial requirements, maintain supplier information, and support industry exhibitions such as Automechanika Dubai. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct supplier meetings and negotiate commercial terms.
• Represent the company’s requirements regarding pricing, lead times, and delivery conditions.
• Negotiate and achieve measurable improvements in pricing, Incoterms, MOQ, and credit terms.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers supporting the Dubai business unit.
• Maintain organized supplier information, records, and procurement reports.
• Monitor supplier follow-ups and ensure purchasing requirements are addressed on time.
• Support company participation in exhibitions, including Automechanika Dubai and other relevant industry events.
• Contribute to improving purchasing procedures and supplier management processes.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, foreign trade, distribution, or a related field.
• Strong supplier negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Good understanding of commercial purchasing terms and processes.
• Confident business communication skills in English.
• Confident business communication skills in Arabic.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain structured supplier data and reporting.
• Results-oriented approach with a focus on commercial outcomes.
