Description:
Hunter Foods is currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Executive to join its operations team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in procurement within the UAE manufacturing sector, particularly in food production environments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the complete procurement cycle, ensuring cost efficiency, timely sourcing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships across the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
• Source and procure materials including consumables, packaging supplies, maintenance items, and office essentials
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable UAE-based suppliers to ensure consistent supply
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve cost savings and value for the company
• Issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and monitor order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain accurate procurement records, inventory levels, and supplier performance data
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and UAE regulations
• Manage supplier registration processes and onboarding procedures
• Utilize ERP systems effectively for procurement tracking and reporting
Requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years of procurement experience within the UAE manufacturing industry (food sector preferred)
• Strong knowledge of local supplier markets and sourcing strategies
• Proven negotiation and vendor management skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
