Description:
Hiring Procurement Engineer – EPC / Oil & Gas (HVAC, Civil, Shutdown & Turnaround Experience)
Requirements:
• Minimum 8+ years of procurement experience in EPC and Oil & Gas projects, with exposure to HVAC, Civil, and Shutdown/Turnaround projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle, procurement workflows, and material management systems.
• Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and supplier management abilities.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of international codes, standards, and sourcing practices.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute complete procurement activities for EPC and shutdown/turnaround projects.
• Review project specifications, technical documents, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare, issue, and evaluate Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and conduct technical-commercial bid assessments.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor database, ensuring adherence to approved vendor lists.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and construction teams to guarantee timely material and service availability.
• Track material deliveries, manage logistics, and resolve procurement-related issues to minimize project delays.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with company procedures, cost control measures, and HSE standards.
• Support cost estimation and budgeting for upcoming shutdown and turnaround projects.
