Description:
We are recruiting a Procurement Coordinator to join the interior fit-out team. The role focuses on sourcing materials, managing vendor relationships, coordinating sample approvals, and ensuring timely delivery of project materials so that design, site and estimation teams can operate smoothly.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in procurement or a similar role, ideally within the fit-out/interior projects sector in the UAE.
- Good knowledge of materials commonly specified in interior fit-out works.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requisitions and follow-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise closely with the Design team to arrange and deliver material samples to Design, Site and Estimation teams on schedule.
- Work with project managers, designers and engineers to clarify material specifications and requirements.
- Source, evaluate and qualify potential suppliers; obtain and manage samples for approvals.
- Negotiate pricing, prepare and issue purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Ensure all procured items meet project specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and trigger timely replenishment to avoid project delays.
- Coordinate and track material deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records — quotations, POs, contracts and invoices.
- Follow up with the Finance team to facilitate timely vendor payments.
