Description:
KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a skilled Procurement Analyst to manage the end-to-end procurement process, support strategic decision-making, and improve operational efficiency across multiple functional areas including Facilities, Construction, Center Operations, Education, Marketing, IT, and HR. This role requires strong analytical skills, contract management expertise, and the ability to execute complex procurement activities in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze spend data to identify opportunities and ensure delivery of financial results, communicating actionable insights clearly
  • Conduct research on products, services, suppliers, pricing trends, cost drivers, and industry benchmarks
  • Align with functional and procurement partners on goals, deliverables, and deadlines
  • Develop and manage RFP events, ensuring clear requirements, bidder engagement, and complete contract documentation
  • Perform complex data analysis in Excel
  • Draft negotiation plans addressing financial and non-financial priorities
  • Document contracts to ensure clear requirements, mitigate risks, and protect operational processes
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects and support Procurement Business Partners
  • Implement new vendor products/services and track financial outcomes until completion
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to procurement policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of procurement experience in multi-unit corporate environments, including market research, RFPs, analysis, negotiation, and contract documentation
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills; familiarity with MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Workday preferred
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to challenge assumptions
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Knowledge of contracts, key clauses, and business vs legal risk
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities and anticipate business needs
