You will be part of a supply-chain organization that drives compliant, cost-effective solutions by partnering with internal stakeholders and our preferred supplier base. This is a remote role based in the U.S.; candidates must be U.S. citizens.

What You Will Do

  • Support the full procurement lifecycle across program phases — from R&D and low-rate initial production through production, deployment, sustainment and closeout.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and externally with suppliers to deliver on cost, schedule and quality objectives.
  • Support bid and proposal activities, execute PIAs/NDAs for new business and strategic pursuits.
  • Employ source selection methods (best value source selection, competitive solicitations, and single/sole source strategies).
  • Perform price and cost analyses, conduct supplier due-diligence, and lead negotiations on price, schedule and contract terms.
  • Negotiate, award, document and manage IOTs, purchase orders and small subcontracts for materials, software and services supporting commercial, DoD, FAA and FMS contracts while complying with FAR/DFAR/AMS and customer requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance (cost, schedule, quality), support PO invoice approvals and resolve order-placement issues.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain and support remediation or value-engineering efforts.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant procurement or supply-chain experience (or an advanced degree).
  • Prior experience in the aerospace industry or related high-technology sector.
  • Hands-on procurement experience, including price analysis, sourcing, PO placement, negotiations and supplier management.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to compliance with internal and government procurement regulations.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Familiarity purchasing hardware, software and services for technical programs.
  • Experience with FAR, DFAR and FAA AMS processes.
  • Experience working in SAP and strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and supplier compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to read and apply company policies and prioritize compliance.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary range: $66,000 – $130,000 USD (actual offer will depend on experience, location, and qualifications).
  • Flexible work arrangements and remote role options; occasional travel to site locations may be required.
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, tuition assistance, and other employee programs.
  • Career development opportunities within a leading aerospace and defense organization.

Additional Information

  • This is a U.S.-based role and U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility due to program/contract access.
  • RTX may close the application window based on business needs or candidate flow; apply promptly if interested.
