Description:
Molina Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented Processor, Payables to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing general accounting tasks, including tracking, processing, and paying invoices for goods and services. The ideal candidate ensures that disbursements follow proper financial controls while optimizing cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Associate Processors, Payables, to ensure accurate and efficient processing of vendor payments.
- Review, approve, and post transactions within the trade and expense payable system.
- Research, verify, and resolve discrepancies in invoices, expense reports, or payments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounts payable closing procedures.
- Maintain positive relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
- Provide training to users of trade and expense payable systems as needed.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with accounting/payable systems.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
Education & Experience:
- Required: Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years required; 3–5 years preferred in accounts payable or related finance roles.
