Description:

Ladders is seeking a skilled Privacy Analyst for its client, a leading organization in the Finance and Insurance sector. This role focuses on governance, compliance, and operational risk management, ensuring privacy incidents and related risks are handled effectively within a regulated environment.

The position offers an opportunity to work closely with leadership teams, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional departments to provide clear, practical guidance. The ideal candidate will help improve incident response processes, strengthen privacy operations, and support the organization’s commitment to responsible and secure business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end Privacy Incident Management programs and workflows.

• Serve as Incident Commander during privacy incident response activities.

• Maintain on-call readiness for incident triage, escalation, and resolution.

• Conduct incident retrospectives and track remediation actions and control gaps.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve incident response quality.

• Support privacy initiatives, including tooling development and process improvements.

• Translate complex privacy and risk issues into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in privacy, security, incident response, or related risk roles.

• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience managing investigations in cloud-native environments.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation tasks.

• Demonstrated ability to build automation for incident response efficiency.

• Strong understanding of privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA.

• Experience responsibly using generative AI tools to enhance workflows.

Strong knowledge of:

• Privacy Regulations (GDPR, CCPA, and related frameworks)

• Incident Response & Risk Management

• SQL, Python, and Cloud-Native Systems
