We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and data-driven Pricing and Discounts Manager to lead the planning, execution, and analysis of commercial strategies across digital and retail platforms. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this fully remote position collaborates closely with Marketing and Business Development teams to maximize revenue through effective pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a global discount calendar for 200+ products across major digital platforms including Steam, Xbox, Switch, and PlayStation
- Develop data-informed discount strategies for catalog titles, bundles, and seasonal events
- Build and maintain relationships with platform partners to secure high-visibility promotions that drive revenue
- Ensure timely submissions through partner portals (e.g., Steamworks, Partner Center) and coordinate with operations for accuracy
- Collaborate with Marketing Managers to align promotional windows with marketing campaigns and business objectives
- Manage wholesale pricing and maintain strong partnerships with key retailers
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and industry strategies to inform pricing for new releases
- Analyze the performance of past discounts and identify optimization opportunities by SKU, platform, and timing
Candidate Profile:
- Passionate about supporting indie developers and the gaming community
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial strategy, pricing, or promotions in the video game industry or digital media
- Familiarity with digital gaming ecosystems and platform-specific promo tools and processes
- Strong analytical skills, experienced with Excel, Sheets, or similar tools for reporting and analysis
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, able to manage multiple timelines and priorities
- Results-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to delivering efficient and effective outcomes
- Comfortable working in a small, motivated, and collaborative team environment
Compensation:
