Description:
FedEx Logistics is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join its team. This role involves using advanced computer modeling, programming, and database tools to support pricing strategies, optimize revenue, and analyze profitability across operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and experience with programming, statistical modeling, and relational database management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and run computer models to support quantitative pricing analysis
• Assist in implementing pricing tactics that align with strategic goals
• Utilize advanced programming languages (e.g., C, SAS, SQL) and analytical tools (e.g., CPLEX) to accelerate data analytics
• Support creation of decision support tools, scientific models, and statistical reports to track, analyze, and optimize revenue and yield
• Contribute to other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Business, Finance/Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• Master’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in analytical or quantitative roles
• Proficiency in advanced programming languages, UNIX, or RDBMS
• Strong analytical, human relations, and communication skills
• Ocean freight experience is preferred
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Remote role)
