The Presales Specialist will be responsible for the development and management of contract documents while maintaining a high attention to detail. You will provide insight and business recommendations based on deal analysis. Your responsibilities include identifying any discrepancy or potential gaps in the deal elements and focusing on continuously improving the process. This role will also be recommending solutions and sharing best practices in partnership with your manager and more senior analysts. The role will build and maintain close collaboration with other departments/stakeholders including sales, sales management, operations, marketing, legal and finance. You will need to know how to work independently as well as in a team environment.

This position is part of the Contract Development team and will be fully remote. In Contract Development, our vision is the development and management of error proof contract documents where analyst provide insight and business recommendations based on deal analysis.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Review of proposal details to ensure compliance to company policies, GPO’s terms and pricing guidelines to support profitable sales growth
  • Advises sales on handling objections, alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closures and may discourage certain requests made from clients or sales representatives
  • Assist sales and support staff in understanding process bottlenecks / inconsistencies and drive for improvements while proactively seeking assistance or input from peers and/or leadership
  • Builds trusted partnerships with cross functional peers and superiors to ensure overall streamlined process and champion contract policy and procedure revisions
  • Recognized as a partner to foster collaboration with Legal, Finance, Sales, Service, Marketing, and IT on contract matters as relevant

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School Diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree with at least 2 years of experience in Pricing, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Contracting, and/or Quoting roles.
  • Skilled in critically analyzing and evaluating contract deals to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Capable of assessing terms and conditions, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and developing strategies to maximize value while minimizing liabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to facilitate deal closures.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a sales advocate or partner, providing actionable feedback and solutions to support successful deal execution.

The hourly range for this role is $38.46-$43.27 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
