Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our analytics team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Power BI, solid data analytics experience, and strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes across the FMCG, e-commerce, and retail sectors. You will play a key role in turning data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI based on business requirements.
Build and maintain data models using Power Query (M language) and DAX, optimizing for performance and usability.
Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources including ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle), databases, and cloud platforms.
Translate complex business processes from sales, finance, operations, and supply chain into meaningful KPIs and visual reports.
Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and operational teams to support real-time data-driven decision making.
Implement and manage Power BI Service features including data refresh schedules, row-level security, and workspace management.
Identify and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
Provide documentation and support training sessions for business users.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Advanced-level expertise in Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service.
Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schema).
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle).
Deep domain knowledge in FMCG, e-commerce, or retail analytics.
Familiar with business KPIs such as sales trends, margin analysis, inventory aging, and forecast accuracy.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure Data Lake, Synapse, or Data Factory is an advantage.
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a bonus.
Relevant experience in Power BI and analytics within ERP-integrated FMCG, retail, and e-commerce environments is expected.
