Description:
We are expanding our team at Mustadama Farms LLC O.P.C and seeking experienced, hands-on professionals for fruit production and crop management roles. If you are passionate about modern horticulture and greenhouse/farm operations, we want to hear from you.
Open Positions:
- Pomologist (1 position)
- Agronomist (1 position)
Pomologist — Responsibilities:
- Manage fruit crop production to optimise yield, quality, and plant health.
- Monitor and manage pests and diseases using integrated pest management practices.
- Develop and implement pruning, thinning, and nutrient schedules tailored to crop needs.
- Improve fruit set, yield performance, and overall plant productivity through best practices.
- Maintain accurate greenhouse/field records and provide regular crop progress reports.
Pomologist — Requirements:
- Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of practical experience in fruit crop management.
- Strong knowledge of plant nutrition, pruning techniques, and pest control strategies.
Agronomist — Responsibilities:
- Oversee crop production planning, nutrient programmes, and field/greenhouse operations.
- Conduct EC/pH monitoring, irrigation scheduling, and coordinate spray programmes.
- Diagnose plant health issues and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance to farm staff on daily operations and agricultural best practices.
- Ensure greenhouse hygiene, climate control measures, and disease prevention protocols are followed.
Agronomist — Requirements:
- Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional farm or greenhouse experience.
- Solid understanding of fertilizer programmes, integrated pest management (IPM), and crop health diagnostics.
