Description:
OneOncology is seeking a Pharmacy Reconciliation Specialist to support both cash reconciliation and patient funding assistance within the Pharmacy IOD division. This role ensures accurate bank deposits, vendor reporting, and account reconciliations while partnering with Pharmacy staff and external foundations to secure financial support for patients. The position reports to the Director, RCM Operations, and maintains accountability to Pharmacy leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Reconciliation & Financial Oversight

  • Monitor and balance Pharmacy IOD bank deposits across multiple accounts
  • Reconcile deposits within vendor applications to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and submit monthly reconciliation reports to Accounting and Finance
  • Review unresolved accounts receivable (AR) items and perform follow-ups
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership to align reconciliations with budget and reporting requirements

Funding Assistance & Patient Support

  • Collect and validate required documentation for patient funding requests
  • Submit applications to external foundations for patient assistance in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage approved funding awards in designated systems
  • Adjust work schedule to accommodate foundation timeframes

Collaboration & Oversight

  • Work under the Director, RCM Operations with guidance from the reconciliation team
  • Maintain strong partnership with Pharmacy leadership for alignment with departmental needs
  • Support vendor relationship management for reconciliation and funding processes
  • Participate in team meetings, process reviews, and special projects as assigned

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of reconciliation processes, banking practices, and financial reporting
  • Experience with vendor or proprietary applications for posting/reconciliation
  • High-speed, reliable internet connection and quiet, private workspace
  • Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and adherence to HIPAA compliance
