Description:

SAIC is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Support Specialist to join its team in a remote capacity within the United States. This position will support payroll and timekeeping operations for a large employee population while ensuring accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and timely resolution of employee requests.

The successful candidate will handle payroll-related inquiries, support employee timekeeping activities, assist with audits, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced payroll support environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to employee payroll inquiries through call center channels, email, and ticketing systems.

• Review employee terminations to ensure compliance with state-specific final pay requirements.

• Reconcile compensatory leave balances and maintain accurate payroll records.

• Ensure payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Prepare and issue promissory notes related to company-owned balances.

• Support internal and external payroll audits.

• Collaborate with payroll team members and provide assistance with daily operations.

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established payroll procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum 5 years of related payroll, timekeeping, or administrative experience.

• U.S. citizenship is required.
