Crowe is seeking a skilled Payroll Processor to join their finance team and manage biweekly and monthly payroll operations for salaried and hourly employees, including variable compensation programs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process biweekly and monthly payroll cycles for both salaried and hourly employees with high accuracy
  • Audit and validate employee data, including job changes, salary adjustments, and pay corrections
  • Handle off-cycle payroll runs and special payments
  • Reconcile payroll results and ensure proper posting to financial systems
  • Manage commissions, bonuses, and other variable compensation programs
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
  • Partner with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll issues, support audits, and provide reporting
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity of payroll information at all times

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience with salaried employee payroll, job changes, and complex pay structures
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, wage & hour laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in payroll and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG/Kronos, or similar)
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and leadership teams
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
  • Open to candidates across the United States, including remote locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing commissions, bonuses, or other variable compensation
  • Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data validation
  • Experience in professional services or multi-entity organizations
