STAR SERVICES is actively recruiting experienced Payroll & General Accountants to become part of their expanding team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals who possess in-depth knowledge of payroll systems, UAE Labour Law regulations, and accounting standards, particularly within staffing or outsourcing environments.
The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations and accurate financial reporting while maintaining full compliance with local labor regulations and internal company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process monthly payroll using the WPS system, ensuring timely salary disbursement
- Maintain strict compliance with UAE Labour Law and established organizational policies
- Perform core accounting duties, including preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations
- Generate payroll-related reports and assist in month-end financial closing procedures
- Keep detailed and organized payroll documentation and employee records
- Collaborate closely with the finance department to manage payroll-related accounting tasks
- Address and resolve employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in payroll management and general accounting functions
- Strong working knowledge of the WPS system and UAE Labour Law requirements
- Prior experience within a staffing or outsourcing company is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in accounting software and strong command of MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
- Currently based in Abu Dhabi and available to join immediately or within short notice
